Jim received his degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University while on a baseball scholarship. After graduation, Jim began his Financial Services career in 1985 with Prudential. In 1997 he accepted a role on the Financial Planning team at First American Bank (which eventually became Regions Bank). In 2015 he decided he could best serve clients by accepting a Financial Advisor role with Raymond James.
Jim has built his financial services practice on an ongoing moto of life. “Knowing what I know, what would I want someone to advise me and my family if we were in the same situation as the client that is sitting in front of me.” His process is straight forward. Get to know the client – Focus on their goals – Create a diversified portfolio that helps them get there – Regularly review the progress and adjust as needed.
Jim and Lisa have been married since 1990 and they have 3 daughters. They live in Hendersonville and have been members of Long Hollow Church since moving to the community in 1995. And yes, he likes to golf with his clients and friends as often as time allows.
